BOB_CLOCK by drkapprenticeDESIGNS

drkapprenticeDESIGNS never ceases to amaze me and their latest is a real eye turner. Upon first glance, one assumes the homescreen is an oversized clock. That couldn’t be further from the truth. In actuality, this stylized clock with layered presentation comes with a working seconds display that does not drain battery or resources whatsoever (and keeps real time!). BOB_CLOCK comes in three different colors (purple, blue, and red) and features user customized fonts throughout, themed message indicators, and a themed media player. For those wondering, the message indicators give your inbox and BlackBerry Messenger a BB10 look and feel. I felt like a kid in a candy store when I saw the “D” and “R,” skinned in BBM. It’s the little things like this that make a theme worthwhile. As this runs off of the default theme there is no icon issue as with other customized designs. Once again the forums present us with a unique gem in terms of theme building. If you’re not familiar with forums memberHamsterwheel then these themes certainly show off her talent with creating original and graphically pleasing designs. Chrome / Chrome7 are her first foray into custom themes (though certainly not her first hand coded theme) and are just brilliant. As I have said before, icons for me are a dealbreaker and the chromes ones included in this set are gorgeous. Both of them are simple, clean, and functional themes to make your Bold’s display stand out with its infusion of color. Chrome is a customized design and while the icons do not show in folders, it also offers a hidden dock controllable with keyboard shortcuts. Chrome7 utilizes the default style with a small banner so as to avoid that pesky icon issue and still comes with those great chrome icons and red highlights.
